Deborah J. Muller brings more than 20 years of human resources and investigation experience and expertise to her roles as Founder and President of HR Acuity, LLC. Prior to founding the firm, Muller held HR leadership positions in numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Honeywell, Citibank and Marsh & McLennan, where she developed a seasoned approach to conducting workplace investigations into
allegations of misconduct.
Her keen ability, acute insight and skilled interviewing techniques, coupled with her knack for determining the best resolution strategy, earned her the reputation as the “expert” for conducting complex and sensitive investigations. Her leadership drove the successful resolution of many situations that were headed for litigation, while preserving the dignity of those being investigated.
HR Acuity offers employee relations and workplace investigation skills training based upon our proprietary five-stage investigation methodology.
Muller earned a bachelor’s of science degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and a master’s of arts degree from the University of Maryland. Additionally, she has completed training on the Reid Technique of Interviewing & Interrogation and is listed on the Cornell University Institute for Conflict Resolution’s Roster of Neutral Fact-Finders. A frequent speaker and trainer, Debbie most recently presented at the 2010 Oklahoma SHRM Conference and was a panelist at Cornell University’s 2010 E‐Entrepreneurship Celebration.
