As we begin 2021, we continue to celebrate our amazing employees who help make HR Acuity great. For this month’s Employee Spotlight, we introduce you to Dipika, a Senior Software Developer here at HR Acuity.
Dipika joined HR Acuity a little over a year ago. She was interested in joining the HR Acuity team because she was looking to grow her career. “HR Acuity presented me the perfect opportunity to challenge myself and grow with the company. HR Acuity is growing at an exponential rate and offers a great learning opportunity for me to use and improve my knowledge.”
A typical day of work for Dipika involves coordinating with the Client Success team and clients to troubleshoot any issues they are having with the platform or configure requests that clients have for the platform. She also works on technology projects to build out HR Acuity platform to meet customer requirements, as well as manage scrum development. Dipika has a unique role as she is often partnering with the offshore team in India on improving our platform.
“It’s great to work with the offshore team. Everyone brings unique perspectives and talent to the table. I also enjoy working with Vikas (Chief Technology Officer), he is a great leader and manages to keep the team focused and productive.”
Dipika has accomplished great things since joining HR Acuity. She contributed to implementing API configurations and ComplianceLine integrations with multiple different clients. When asked what she enjoys most about working at HR Acuity, she said, “I enjoy being a part of growing the client base and contributing to improving the product. We offer a unique solution that helps company’s run more efficiently and improves the employee experience.”
One of her favorite memories about HR Acuity is from the first month she started. On her birthday, she came in the office and her desk was decorated. “I was very surprised when I walked in and saw my desk decorated for my birthday. The company is great at making every employee feel like they are a part of the family. They also make sure to celebrate a variety of holidays such as Diwali – it makes every employee feel included.”
When Dipika isn’t working on improving the HR Acuity platform, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has two children, a son and daughter. (Dipika happens to share her birthday with her daughter!) They like to spend time going on bike rides, walking and hiking.
Dipika is a great addition to the HR Acuity team. Her knowledge on the product and #BeBold personality drives results. She challenges herself and the team to strive to be better every day.
