Groups and Locations

HR Acuity refers to Groups as the framework of where an employee is associated in the organization. This varies from organization to organization. Some organizations group by departments, others' group by brand, while others still can group by city. Users permissions can be granted by which Groups they are allowed to see cases created within. Groups are also a significatnt field in which users can create reports to identify. Groups should be chosen based on what works best for your organization with permissions and reporting in mind. Locations, like groups, are fields used in reporting. They will help to filter information related to your organization sites.
