The Difficult Conversation Series is a practical, hands-on course that equips employee relations leaders and team members with the tools and confidence to handle the hardest moments in any working relationship: Holding colleagues accountable, giving honest feedback and receiving criticism without defensiveness. Across three workshops, participants will learn peaceful, repeatable communication sequences that can turn potentially divisive conversations into opportunities to build trust, restore relationships and strengthen their teams.

    • Workshop 1: Wednesday, September 9 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM ET (Eastern Time) 
    • Workshop 2: Wednesday, September 16 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM ET (Eastern Time) 
    • Workshop 3: Wednesday, September 23 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM ET (Eastern Time)

Full Attendance Required: 

This course is structured as a two-part training with the workshops building on each other. Therefore, full, live attendance is required to ensure a valuable experience for all participants. The workshops will not be recorded and there are no make-up sessions. Credits will be awarded at the end of the three workshops. To be eligible for the credits, attendance is required at all sessions. 

NOTE: When you register, you will receive the link to join Workshop 1. The links for Workshops 2 and 3 will be sent out 24-48 hours after you register (or on the next business day if it is a Friday/weekend).
