Meet Kat Ireland, a Client Engagement Manager at HR Acuity. Kat is our featured Employee for this month’s Employee Relations Spotlight, an inside look at HR Acuity and our team.
Before joining HR Acuity, Kat was in a product management role in the finance industry. Kat said she was drawn to HR Acuity because, “I really enjoyed that HR Acuity was a small company, but also a company in demand. I knew there would be room for growth here and it’s interesting to watch the company quickly grow with you.”
Kat joined the HR Acuity team almost two and a half years ago. A typical day for Kat is joining client calls to help troubleshoot their questions, integrate their technology and implement team members on the HR Acuity platform.
Kat has definitely seen her career grow since she started at HR Acuity. “It’s amazing to see how the company has grown since I started at HR Acuity. The number of clients that I work with has drastically increased and some of the clients that we implemented have thousands of employees!” Kat said that her biggest accomplishments are implementing big companies into the platform.
There are many things that Kat enjoys about HR Acuity, but if she had to pick just one, it would be the sense of family. “The team atmosphere is family-like. We are always laughing and having fun together. I am never afraid to ask for help, even if it’s from someone outside of my department.”
Kat’s favorite HR Acuity memory is the day she interviewed for her position and met Deb Muller , our HR Acuity CEO. “I walked in for my interview and Deb had peach salsa sitting on her desk. I love peach salsa and we bonded over how delicious it is. I swear that is why I got the job!”
In her free time, Kat likes to spend time with her nine-year-old daughter Gianna. Since being in quarantine, they both have been spending a lot of time together outside skateboarding and rollerblading.
