WinCo Foods Leverages HR Acuity’s HR Case Management Software

[0:03] I’m the Director of Employee Relations and Compliance for WinCo Foods, a grocer in the western United States with about 150 locations. I use HR Acuity every day—mostly my team—because every concern that comes in is logged, assigned and approved in the system.

[0:26] What makes HR Acuity really valuable is credibility. If a regulatory agency or our legal department asks for information, I’m confident I can send an organized report—everything is there and shows my team’s hard work, unlike the old Post-it notes and Excel spreadsheets.

[0:52] Before HR Acuity everyone had a spreadsheet or relied on someone’s memory of “when Joe did something.” That’s not accurate and doesn’t represent the company well. HR Acuity lets us produce the facts and pull them out of those spreadsheets.

[1:42] The impact is clear: HR Acuity gives us a seat at the table. We can provide data that says, “This is a risk for the company,” and back it up. It takes a lot for an employee to come to ER, and I want them to walk away thinking, “I’m glad I did that—wish I’d done it sooner.”
