Deem has received multiple recognitions for her work, including being named to the list of Top 50 Women Lawyers in Illinois in 2022.

Sue Ann Van Dermyden, AWI-CH, is an instructor for VM Mastered and a founder and Senior Partner of Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation, where she leads the San Diego office. A workplace investigator since 2006 and former employment litigator, she also provides expert witness testimony and authors articles on employment law. As Senior Faculty for the Association of Workplace Investigators’ Institute, she helped shape its curriculum and trains Title IX investigators through T9 Mastered.
