TL;DR: With more than 20,000 employees across 600 + Sheetz stores, paper files and spreadsheets couldn’t keep pace. Sheetz is a family-owned convenience retailer with more than 600 locations in six states. We’ve added about 500 stores in the past 30 years and that growth means many more employees—now over 20,000. Tracking everything on paper and pencil became impossible.

The employee-relations team has been using HR Acuity for around three years and it saves us a lot of time. When you log in, it ties to our HR management system so all employees and departments are already loaded. We can quickly identify who’s involved in a case and see whether someone has appeared in previous cases.

We also use the system for reporting—metrics on how quickly we close cases, how long they stay open and what organization-wide trends are developing. If employee theft or performance issues tick up, we can pinpoint where change is needed.
