Elevating ER #9: Making the Business Case for Employee Relations

In the final Elevating ER episode, HR Acuity CEO Deb Muller explains how to build a compelling business case for employee-relations technology, showcases HR Acuity’s ROI Calculator and highlights the gains organizations can achieve with dedicated ER software.

Video Transcript:

[0:06] So, how do you build your business case for bringing employee relations-specific technology, hopefully HR Auity, into your organization? Well, last year we went out to Forrester Consulting—they’re an independent research firm—to ask them that question, and they conducted what they call their TEI study, their Total Economic Index.

[0:24] They went out and they talked to real customers about the ROI that they were achieving with employee relations specific software, and they looked at five key indicators for where the ROI existed.

[0:35] First was the improved efficacy of the employee relations and human resource business partners. Then they looked at cost avoidance, avoided and mitigated legal risk. They looked at the strategic insight gains. They also looked at how the organization protected the reputation and their brand and finally improved employee productivity.

[0:53] Put all that together, and it’s much easier to go forward and say this is software that’s required for our organization. You can go right to our website and download the TEI study there in full.

[1:05] We also have this great calculator that Forrester created where you can actually put in your own information about your business and then you have a specific report for your business right there. You can print it right off and that’s a great way to start a conversation about the right technology for your organization.

[1:22] So at HR Acuity, we are all about employee relations. That’s what we do and we love to talk to you about your challenges. We love to hear about how you’re solving them and we also want to partner with you. We can share what we’ve learned from our clients and our employee relations community to help you get you on the right path to protecting your organization and creating a better workplace for your employees.
